WALT: Give oral instructions.
Today
we had to give Miss Groves instructions on how to make jam on toast. She took
the instructions we gave her very literally, so we had to give her very clear
instructions. We also used adverbs to describe how she should complete an
instruction.
Here is
some of the vocabulary we generated:
Put, first,
slices, bread, carefully,
push the lever, knife, strawberry jam, slot,
next, bread, toast,
evenly, scrumptious, enjoy
After,
we worked in groups to verbally generate instructions for making jam on toast.
