Our Pantomime Visit
The whole school saw The Wizard of Oz in Chesham. There were some funny characters. The characters were the Lion, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and Dorothy. They went on a magical adventure to the world of Munchkin land and they came across a wonderful fairy who guided them all the way to the Wizard of Oz.
They all wanted something from the Wizard. Dorothy asked to go home, and the Tin Man wanted a heart. The Lion wanted to have Courage and the Scarecrow wished to have a brain.
I thought that the Pantomime was really good. At the end they sang Gangnam Style and we all got up on our feet and danced to it. The teachers had to dance too. It was really fun.
We got to eat an Ice Block (Choc Ice) and a Kit Kat. For a drink we had some water. Me and my partner Caden played some games like I spy on the coach.

Getting ready for Christmas
This week year one and two have been getting ready for Christmas.
We have been making Christmas stockings. We have also been writing Acrostic Poems about Christmas. Every day we are opening the Advent Calendar. Also, year one and two have made an Advent Wreath and we have made some candles. One person lights the candle each week.
There have been some Christmas Activities, and also, the whole school has been practicing Christmas songs.

Year 1 & 2
Welcome to the year 1 & 2 blog. We have had a very busy day today decorating our class Christmas tree and writing an acrostic poem about Christmas. Feel free to come and look at our class display.
