Amazing maths!

Today in maths we were measuring length. Some of us were ordering objects depending on their length. We used 30cm rulers to measure if objects were longer or shorter than 30 cms. Some of us made our own rulers using multi link cubes.

Terrific typing!

Today in ICT we were using a fantastic typing game on the BBC website called Dance Mat Typing.

This week we are looking at stories with repeating patterns. 

We all re- enacted different parts of the story.

We have had a very busy start to the new year.

Today we went on the computers. We were learning to word process and print out our work. It was extremely fun!

Today I got my karate uniform. I felt really nervous but excited at the same time!

On Friday Hertfordshire library came into school to inspire the children with the Summer Reading Challenge!

The children need to read at least 6 books over the summer and then tell the librarian all about their favourite story.

Last week the children worked really hard getting the class ready for our open evening. Some of the work on show were Bob and Charlotte (the class rhino and zebra!), outer space boxes and sunflowers painted in the style of Van Gough
